Zapier supercharges your workflow by automating repetitive web-based tasks. For individual users, Zaper streamlines the mundane to give you more free time. For businesses, Zapier creates a hyper-efficient workflow for teams at scale. Athletics was asked to distill the Zapier product experience into a motion strategy and system that could be used consistently on screens of all sizes.

Zapier creates clarity by automating tasks, leaving users feeling empowered. We express the idea of clarity through 3 strategic ideals that define how the brand comes to life in motion:

CLEAR THE WAY

The first ideal is focused on educational behaviors. To help orient new users and simplify workflows we use linear, logical sequences and directional wayfinding to guide users attention. We introduce the Zapier UI and the idea of automation.

CLEAR THE DESK

This ideal demonstrates the impact of streamlined workflows. We show user data being transformed into automations that move in harmony. Visual elements appear in synchronicity, under complete control.

CLEAR THE MIND

The last ideal demonstrates the aspirational benefits of automation. A zen-like state of mind is created by using singular actions, serene animations, and a more subdued color palette.
